Jimmy Alvarez

Jimmy Alvarez is an Executive Producer and an On-Air Personality at TNN Radio.  Alvarez joined TNN in 2006, he has been instrumental in development of their network of contributors that stretches from Coast-to-Coast and Around the World. He is a tenured Music Executive and published Author. Jimmy began his career in broadcasting in 1987 at KROQ FM in Los Angeles. He also spent time at MARS FM, also in Los Angeles. His credentials include development and production of Ska and Reggae programs in the 90's for Reggae Revolution and Groove Radio. Alvarez acquired his FCC broadcasting license in 1991.
 

His current program features a Modern Rock / Alternative format, with elements of Ska and Reggae. The program is called "TNN's Alternative Lunch."  The program airs Saturdays from Noon to 1:30 pm (Pacific time zone) on media 89.5 fm (Anaheim, California)  www.tnnradio.org and www.ktstfm.com, also appearing on the broadcast are On-Air Personalities Christina Preiss and Gil Perez. Alvarez is also featured Sunday's on the stations social media pages on Facebook and Twitter as he hosts their flashback show called Resurrection Sunday.
