Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2012

The International Association of Internet Broadcasters (IAIB) announced this week that it has scheduled its public launch at BlogWorld 2012 in New York City June 5-7. IAIB is the official live streaming partner of Stitcher Radio, a world leader in on-demand and live Internet broadcasting, for this conference.

The IAIB held its soft launch in March of this year as the first new media trade organization representing the interests of independent and corporate Internet broadcasters throughout the world. The IAIB’s reputation as a prominent, effective, and innovative presence on the rapidly emerging Internet broadcasting scene is already being established at a time when live streaming Internet broadcasting is still in its infancy.

Rick Calvert, CEO and co-founder of BlogWorld & New Media Expo, says IAIB could not have come along at a better time.

"We fully support the spirit and the mission behind IAIB, and we are excited to have them making their public debut at BlogWorld & New Media Expo in New York," Calvert says. "As new media continues to grow it will need to be represented by quality associations like IAIB."

Committed to quality, education, and advocacy for the online broadcasting industry, co-founders Andrew Zarian and Spencer Kobren established the IAIB to address the need for a centralized support hub advocating for the interests of all IAIB members. Zarian and Kobren have based the organization’s core principles on their own commitment to distinctive business development through established and effective academic, cultural, and informational networking resources in the field.

Attendees of the three day conference will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with Kobren and Zarian, who will share their views on the power of Internet broadcasting, and their experience developing an effective podcasting network.
