Many Podcasters woke up this morning in shock. Blip.tv has announced that it will be discontinuing distribution to iTunes. Podcasters have until Feburary 28th, 2014 to redirect their RSS.

It was only a few months ago when Blip.tv sent out an email informing thousands of memebers that their accounts would be shut down.

Over the past few years blip.tv had grown as a favorite video host for many podcasters due to the ease of use and pricing. Now many will have to scramble to figure out where they will be hosting their video Podcast.

Dear Blip Producer,

This email is regarding your Blip account with username whatthetech.

We are writing to let you know that we will be discontinuing distribution to iTunes on February 28, 2014. We want to give you the opportunity to redirect iTunes to a new RSS feed of your podcast. Once you have the updated RSS URL, you may submit it at the below URL and the redirect will be sent to iTunes:

Feel free to contact Blip at support@blip.com if you have any questions or concerns.

 Thanks,
